Journal Change Up (Already) and Subscription Changes
With January in the rear view mirror and looking ahead into February and beyond, I have already made some changes to my memory keeping plans. This may be the first time that I switched up plans so quickly.
Last August I decided to order a larger size thinking that this might work better in 2025 but it seems that I prefer what worked for the past 3 years — a Hobonichi Weeks or Sterling Ink N2 as my daily carry. Working in a larger size felt like a chore and I never want memory keeping to feel like work.
This morning I ordered a Sterling Ink N2 planner. Once it arrives, I plan to backfill Jan and Feb and move forward using it as my daily carry. I also ordered a new Hobonichi Weeks Tragen cover which I will pick up from Atlas Stationers when I am downtown this week. I love the style of the Tragen series.
For creative journaling and memory keeping, I will continue to use an A6 @analogue_keeper weekly journal. I am having fun with stamps from my stash and recently picked up a set of Block Alphabet Wood Stamps from Recollections at Michaels. I am also filling up pockets using 6x8 pocket TN inserts from @shopfreckledfawn that I slip into my @roterfaden.de nubuck cover.
I cancelled a stamp subscription that I started late in 2024 and opted to started a new sub to @everydayexplorersco Mini Book Makers Club. I couldn’t miss out on the new LLP designed kit called “Currently”. I am also a Patreon of Life Love Paper so receive digitals and stickers monthly.
I feel comfort in my decisions this morning and excited to move back to memory keeping I love while seeking some new techniques with stamps in my A6 weekly.
