Chicago Stationery Fest

My first stationery fest is in the books. While I do not love crowds or fests, I will make exceptions when it comes to paper, journals, and stickers! The 2025 Chicago Stationery Fest was put on by Paper & Pencil at Artifact Events, a beautiful event space in Chicago’s Ravenswood neighborhood. I picked up my lanyard on Friday at the Paper & Pencil Shop in Andersonville along with a few other items. And by chance, I was able to meet @er_creates and @gina.blanco.713.

Thankfully by checking in a day early my wait to enter was shorter. While in line, I met the nicest event planners. Once entering the space, my first stop was to donate several journaling and scrapbooking supplies to the @thewasteshed. It felt good to let go of items to a better home to make room for a few new goodies. Next up was navigating the heavy crowds to purchase items that I have been eyeing online.

My next stop was to the main floor for the Sticker Swap hosted by @stephaniemakesstuff. Again, another opportunity to destash. At my tab;e, I was able to see @aida_gatch TN journal cover in real life…I just love all the patches. 😍 I also picked up my @everydayexplorersco Passport: Chicago stamp set that I preordered. It was so nice to meet @christine.herrin in person 🤗. My final stop was to the Paper & Pencil table to purchase @abbeysy and @thecoffeemonsterzco fest stickers. Thankful for my linemate @alinasaurus ✨ Once my final purchase was made, I walked to @dovetailbrewery to decompress. I hope to attend next year with @1ifewithsky!
